With the full support of the Philippine Marines Corps led by its Commandant, Major General Andrei Costales, Jr. AFP and the Philippine Marine Corps Officers’s Spouses (PMCOSAI) under the helm of Mrs. Anna Marie Parreño, frontRUNNER successfully organized the second edition of the Philippine Marines Corps Marathon (PMCM) at the Marine Base, Gregorio Lim, Ternate, Cavite, the premiere main training camp for future Marines, on October 30, 2016. This year’s staging, which offered 5-, 10-, and 25-kilometer events and the centerpiece 42-km distance saw a 300% increase in participation of runners, both civilian and military, and also attracted many repeaters from last year’s race.
